The Conclave’s core agenda focuses on advancing smarter, more transparent public diplomacy and equitable, evidence-based public health systems.

The inaugural Georgetown Pakistan Public Policy Conclave (G3PC) is a first-of-its-kind forum dedicated to rethinking Washington’s and the wider diaspora’s public diplomacy and public health agendas through the lens of informed discourse about and within Pakistan and the Pakistani-American diaspora.
Hosted by the undergraduate leadership of Georgetown’s South Asian Policy Research Initiative (SAPRI), and in partnership with the School of Foreign Service, McCourt School of Public Policy, and the School of Health, GP3C aims to convene leading voices from policy, academia, journalism, business, and advocacy.
Led by Wajahat S. Khan—Emmy-nominated journalist, author, and founder of the Ivy Future of Pakistan Conference, conducted successfully at Yale University in April 2025 — this conclave brings together policymakers, academics, students, and advocates from across disciplines. Khan is the founder and CEO of the Pak Futures Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to debating and investing in leading Pakistani and Pakistani-American voices and concepts.
Supporting this initiative is Amna Khilji, the Deputy Director of the Conclave and Vice President at Audeliss, a global executive search firm. Khilji is the co-founder and COO of the Pak Futures Foundation.
Representing Georgetown University, student leadership is provided by Rai Hasen Masoud Kharal of the School of Foreign Service, and Shahaan Shafi of the School of Public Health—two dynamic undergraduate voices bridging academic rigor with policy innovation.
Together, Khan, Khilji, Kharal and Shafi are committed to platforming progressive policy conversations and ideas about the impact of public policy—specifically in governance, diplomacy, health and wellness—within the Pakistani American diaspora and even in Pakistan.
The conclave’s core agenda focuses on advancing smarter, more transparent public diplomacy and equitable, evidence-based public health systems.
Special attention is given to the 1.2 million-strong Pakistani-American diaspora, and especially members of the the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) community, ensuring that their insights, concerns, and capacity to influence positive change are fully integrated into an important conversation at the most influential campus in the American capital.

Led by the Pak Futures Foundation and pillared by Georgetown University students, the Conclave’s executive board represents a cross-section of young and experienced Pakistani and diaspora leaders in the media, business and student politics.
