Sahar Habib Ghazi is an Emmy-nominated journalist and design-thinking strategist who has led newsrooms in Pakistan and the U.S. for two decades. She was part of the DawnNews launch team, produced Pakistan’s first live broadcasts, and reported for GEO and The New York Times. She later served as managing editor at Global Voices and South Asia editor at VICE World News, where she helped grow its award-winning TikTok to 3M followers with nuanced coverage of climate and conflict. Beyond journalism, she has trained the Punjab Police, Pakistan’s Polio Eradication Cell, and Jazz’s executive team on communicating with marginalized communities, and hosted Pakistan’s largest start-up conference, 021Disrupt. A 2011 Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford, Sahar edits the Substack Pink Salt, writes on politics and parenting on Instagram @2030Mama, and delivered the viral TEDx talk The Muslims You Cannot See at TEDxStanford during the last Trump administration
