Ayaan Sohail is one of the first Pakistani Division I basketball players in NCAA history. He graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA and summa cum laude honors from Lamar University. During his collegiate career, he received numerous accolades including the John Gray Presidential Award and the Otho Plummer Award, the institution’s highest academic honor. He is now a medical student at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, the world’s largest medical center. Drawing on the discipline of athletics and a passion for service, Ayaan is pursuing a career in medicine. Beyond his academic and professional interests, he remains engaged in creative and community-focused initiatives that reflect his commitment to inspiring and empowering others.
