Dr. Zulfiqar Bhutta

Zulfiqar A. Bhutta, MBBS, PhD is the Robert Harding Inaugural Chair in Global Child Health at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and Founding Director of the Center of Excellence in Women and Child Health at the Aga Khan University. He holds faculty appointments at Johns Hopkins, Tufts, the University of Alberta, and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. A Distinguished National Professor of Pakistan, he has advised the UN, WHO, and GAVI on maternal and child health. His contributions to global child health and nutrition have earned him the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, the Global Child Health Award, and election to the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
