Junaid is an investor and entrepreneur. His latest venture Caravan Media is building actionable and insightful content to foster awareness about economic reform and opportunity in Pakistan and the wider MENA region. In his previous operating roles across finance and tech, Junaid served as Managing Director of Careem, and CEO of two financial services firms, Elixir Securities and BMA Financial.

He also leads Salt Ventures, an early-stage venture investing and advisory firm with stakes in leading start-ups disrupting retail, logistics, fintech, agriculture, health, and construction across MENA and also appeared on Season 1 of Shark Tank Pakistan.

He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
