Dr. Maleeha Lodhi is a Pakistani diplomat and the former representative of Pakistan to the United Nations. She was the first Pakistani woman to hold this position and has also held numerous other notable positions, like being the High Comissioner to the United Kingdom and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States. She was named as an international scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center, served as a member of the advisory council of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, been a member of the Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum, and received the Hilal-i-imtiaz for Public Service. She has a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and received her doctorate in Political Science from there as well.
