Asher Qazi is a capital markets partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Mr. Qazi advises public and private company and sponsor clients on debt and equity offerings, securities regulations, and corporate governance matters. Prior to joining Kirkland, he earned his Doctorate in Law from the University of Chicago Law School, where his research focused on judicial behavior. He previously practiced as a corporate attorney in Pakistan, specializing in debt finance and public-private partnerships, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja, former Chief Justice of Pakistan.
