
Rashid Chotani, MD, MPH is an infectious disease epidemiologist with over 20 years of experience in biodefense, biosecurity, and public health emergency management. He is Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Senior Fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies. He has held leadership roles including Chief Executive Officer of a global health strategy firm and Global Medical Director at AshBritt–IEM Health, where he led large-scale COVID-19 response operations. He received the 2016 NATO Scientific Achievement Award for his work on medical countermeasures against biological threats.
